Within the wristwatch community, the people are often what create the connections that last a lifetime. This has creates one of the most enjoyable avocations and communities one can belong to in today’s age. Horology Republic is building the room for those conversations and connections, here in Rochester.
On August 29th, we’ll hear from Al Armstrong, one of the legends of the wristwatch and jewelry industry. He has been in the business for 50 years and knows everyone there is to know at all the brands. He knows where all the bones are buried and which executive did what all throughout the last half century.
You’ll hear stories, understand what the business was like on that side of the display case, and get a feel for all sorts of pieces. Ask Al about his experiences with your favorite brand. Chances are, he’s dealt with your top 3.
We’ll have a live jazz duo accompanying us along with light refreshments. It will be a night to remember and certainly all sorts of memories will be made.
